Ever felt like the Council of Loathing is slacking and you could do a better job wrecking Seaside Town? Here’s your chance. We’re running a contest for everyone to pitch their best idea for a brand new hypothetical KoL World Event.
Give us the setup, the mechanics, the weird new zones, and whatever terrible puns you've been hoarding.
The Dates
The contest officially opens on August 15th and runs until 12pm GMT on 29th August. Just drop your entry in this thread or send it via KMail to Psyko (#353702).
How we're judging this:
- Creativity (Primary): This is the big one. We want fresh, funny, and genuinely weird ideas.
- KoL Flavour: It actually needs to feel like it belongs in the Kingdom. If it doesn't make sense in the context of meat-pasting and booze-hound adventurers, it's not going to fly.
- Balance (Tiebreaker): We're looking at creativity first, but if we're forced to split hairs between two amazing entries, we'll look at actual game balance. Basically, don't just write an event that drops infinite Mr. Accessories and call it a day.
