It wouldn't be a true anniversary celebration without a little bit of old-school masochism. To celebrate 21 years of Otori, we are hosting a 100% Black Cat Bad Moon speed ascension contest.
Because Bad Moon requires a specific setup, we are making it easy for you: we are providing the accounts so everyone is on a complete level playing field. We have exactly 21 accounts pre-ascended into Bad Moon ready to go. This means there is a strict cap of 21 contestants: first come, first served.
Your goal is simple: complete the 100% Black Cat Bad Moon ascension with the fastest turncount before the deadline. No IOTMs, no permed skills... just you, the Kingdom, and your raw ascending talent. And the RNG.
Since you will be using clan provided accounts, there are a few strict rules you must follow to ensure fair play and easy verification:
- Lowest Turncount Wins: The player who defeats the Naughty Sorceress in the fewest turns takes the crown.
- Your run must be 100% Black Cat.
- DO NOT Break the Prism: Once you defeat the Naughty Sorceress, stop playing. We need the account to remain in its prism state so clan leadership can log in and officially verify your final turncount.
- DO NOT Change the Password: You must keep the password exactly as it was given to you.
- If we find an IotM on the account, you will be disqualified.
Reply to this thread or send a K-Mail to Psyko (#353702) to claim your spot. Accounts will be distributed via DM on the contest start date to the first 21 people who sign up.
Think you're the fastest ascender in the Kingdom? You'll have to prove it against our very own Otorian Zanthia! Zanthia will be posting a run as a benchmark since he is insane and loves Bad Moon. If you manage to beat Zanthia's final turncount, you will earn a special bonus prize on top of any other winnings.
